I decided to start painting this drawing I did as a sketch of amber a few days ago. I have been using a new technique and adapting it to my style based on Bill pressings progress notes on his web site. To I thought I would share the painting process as I plow along.
Here you can see I traced the sketch down onto water color paper. I am starting to dislike Bristol because of the fact it just doesn't hold water all that well and sometimes the colors look dull.
It is very faint but my outline was done in red pencil. I am lying down the under painting for the image using acrylics.
